Established in July 2017 under the guidance of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Red Sea Global (RSG) stands at the forefront of luxury regenerative tourism—creating astonishing destinations that blend architectural brilliance with unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability. Through the Red Sea, Amaala, and Thuwal, Red Sea Global aims to lead the world towards a more sustainable future, demonstrating how responsible development can uplift communities, drive economic growth, and enhance the environment.
At its core, RSG is guided by goals that go beyond tourism. It strives to harness and showcase Saudi Arabia's greatest strengths—its pristine landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and spirit of hospitality—while building upon the Kingdom's leading role at the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds. In doing so, it also aims to help forge a more sustainable economy, creating new cultural and business connections that strengthen Saudi Arabia's ties with the world.
Sustainability & Regenerative Vision
Environmental Stewardship
- Preserving 75% of the natural archipelago, ensuring untouched ecosystems remain protected.
- Delivering a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040, supporting biodiversity restoration and ecosystem resilience.
- Conducting a pioneering terrestrial baseline assessment in 2025 that identified 11 Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) to inform and guide sustainable tourism and habitat protection efforts.
- Aligning with Saudi Arabia’s National Red Sea Sustainability Strategy, which preserves and regenerates the Red Sea’s natural heritage for future generations.
- Embedding sustainability into every stage of development, from construction to hospitality, with substantial compliance and risk management frameworks.

Launched in 2024 and spanning 1.7 hectares, this exclusive private island is developed and operated by RSG. Set just off the coast of Jeddah, amid the crystalline waters of the Red Sea, the island offers a highly personalized experience, reserved for only one group at a time. It is a sanctuary to gather with family and friends, savor the rare luxury of privacy, and embrace the freedom of adventure.

Forging a Sustainable Future
Red Sea Global is more than a developer of luxury destinations—it is a powerful catalyst for progress, uniting culture, nature, and innovation into experiences that honor heritage while embracing the future. By harnessing Saudi Arabia's greatest strengths, reinforcing its role at the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds, and forging stronger cultural and business ties globally, RSG positions the Kingdom as a pioneer of regenerative tourism.
As mirrored villas rise above turquoise seas and desert resorts emerge from mountain rock, the company is proving that development need not come at the cost of nature or identity. Instead, it can uplift communities, create opportunity, and safeguard ecosystems for generations to come.
In charting this course, Red Sea Global offers a vision of travel that transcends leisure—a vision where tourism becomes a bridge between worlds, a driver of sustainable economies, and a powerful reminder that the future of exploration can also be the future of preservation.
