The L’Oscar London: A Theatrical Escape in the Heart of the City
Charged with breathing new life into a Baroque-style former church, Garcia reimagined L’Oscar as pure theatre — a place where luxury plays center stage and every corner feels like a carefully choreographed scene.

Masterfully blending Baroque grandeur with theatrical flair, L'Oscar London will astound you. Its design is a unique blend of seductive, unconventional, and unapologetically opulent elements, making it a standout masterpiece by celebrated French architect Jacques Garcia. His signature touch, also gracing icons like Hôtel Costes in Paris, La Mamounia in Marrakech, and New York's NoMad, is evident in every corner of L'Oscar London.Once a 19th-century Baptist church, the building has been transformed into a temple of indulgence, a metamorphosis that will leave you intrigued and amazed.

Garcia's vision? “A hotel is a theatre,” he says—”a stage where performances of the utmost quality are played out, and every detail is considered for the enjoyment of its guests.”

Parisian Allure with a Wicked Twist

Imagination, attention to detail, and certain French”je ne sais quoi” are woven into the fabric of L'Oscar London. Every inch of the hotel feels like a curated scene, designed to captivate and immerse you. From the richly adorned guest rooms draped in velvet and leather to the glowing onyx bar, butterfly-wing crystal taps, and a dramatic chandelier that cascades through seven floors of original staircase, the hotel pulses with drama and intention.

A Culinary Stage

Dining is no less of a spectacle. The in-house Café L'Oscar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a mirrored sanctuary of gilded panels and original artwork, transforming every meal into an affair of elegance.

In the Heart of the Action

Located in the heart of Bloomsbury on Southampton Row—just steps from the City, Soho, Theatreland, and the West End—L'Oscar invites guests to experience London through a lens of beauty, boldness, and timeless intrigue. This central location ensures you're always connected and part of the vibrant life of the city. This isn't just a stay—it's a scene.
